Gap personnel, operating as an employment business, are currently recruiting for a number of positions within the Wrexham area, including:
The successful candidates will have previous experience in a production environment The role will involve all of the manufacturing process from grading, sorting, to machine minding,
There is no heavy lifting, loading or handballing. Workers will feed apples along the line, removing and stopping Dead bury from passing through.
Dead bury will include sticks, stones, leaves and wild items
Work is repetitive & will involve liaising with driving delivering apples.
Operating machinery which is specific to their business manually & using computer systems.
Perform product changeovers to standard operating procedures.
Ensure product quality standards are met.
Carry out product quality assurance checks to ensure compliance with expected standards.
Be aware of current line performance, recognizing potential issues and reporting status using specified system.
Support Continuous improvement initiatives and establish best practice.
To maintain a clean and safe working environment.
To communicate effectively with production colleagues and manager.
The successful candidates will have previous experience in a production environment and have there own transport due to location, unless they live within the immediate Ledbury area.
Hours & Days of Work :
Days & Nights
12 hour shifts 1800 – 0600 & 0600 – 1800
Shift pattern likely to be 6 on 3 off.
Grading scale depending on work experience:
• pay is between £7.20 – £9.42
