We are a small, rapidly growing engineering company based in the Bourne / Spalding area. At Fentech Ltd we offer mechanical design of anything from complete agricultural machinery to industrial process control systems. We are currently looking to appoint a Junior/ Graduate CAD Design Engineer.
The Role & Responsibilities
You will be responsible for creating new technical drawings, providing expert project and design support and maintain existing projects.
The day to day tasks will include drawing updates, design creation and project management. Due to the diverse range of projects, personal organisation is paramount.
The role will consist of an initial trial period of 3 months, leading to a full time position thereafter.
The Candidate
This role is ideal for graduates looking for their first commercial role however non-graduates with the right hands-on experience will also be considered.
You will be computer literate with an existing knowledge of CAD programs. Specifically Solidworks, but experience in CATIA, NX, Inventor also considered.
We are interested in candidates who are inquisitive and able to demonstrate strong problem solving skills. Initial training will be provided, however, you must be able to use your own initiative and work without supervision. The ideal candidate will be detail-minded, efficient and hard-working with a can-do attitude.
Knowledge of the agricultural industry, existing machinery and farming methods would be an advantage but not essential.
Driving licence essential as occasional visits to clients will be required along with a rural location.
